Position Title:Maintenance Coordinator
Supervisor:Maintenance Supervisor
Division: FLC
Shifts: 1st: 800A – 500P

Position Summary
VT Industries of Georgia manufactures wood products including fine laminate countertops. VT uses highly automated processes for building kitchen and bath countertop. It is a job requirement to be able to do the following:

Available for work 8 hours a day; 5 days per week with occasional mandatory overtime
Maintain a reliable network of outside vendors and suppliers based on price, service and quality
Maintain parts inventory, including organization and neatness on the shelves
Responsible for purchasing of Maintenance and related supplies
Verify receipt of purchase and route receivers (a.k.a Packing Slips) to Accounts Payable
Detailed knowledge of purchase order process
Oversee Contractor Management Protocol
Maintain the VTI of Georgia asset register, (a.k.a. Machine Master List)
Maintenance administration person for MP2 to include data input, work order generation, status and closure, inventory maintenance, labor tracking and report generation
Generate regular reports for maintenance KPM’s (Key Performance Metrics)
Knowledge and maintenance of SDS Documentation
Participate/contribute to other facility functions, such as safety, environmental and LEAN initiatives
Keep work area clean and organized
Use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ALL EMPLOYEES: Safety glasses, ear plugs POSITION SPECIFIC: Safety glasses, ear plugs, and gloves
Observe all safety policies and procedures at all times
Work individually or with team members as assigned
Maintain a positive work environment
Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Position Requirements
Good planning, organizational skills, and problem solving capabilities
Professional communication skills (both verbal and written)
Demonstrated abilities in MS Office Suite and other windows based programs

Preferred Requirements
Capable of using VISIO
Experience in laminate countertop manufacturing
Experience with LEAN process
